How the RapidLog Line Was Reorganized And Why
Several years ago when we introduced scanning to RapidLog, it was a novel high-speed
addition to the system, and so the new product was called RapidScan.
As time has passed, scanning has become more popular, and more affordable, to the point
where almost every RapidLog system is purchased with the scanning add-ons. To reflect this
new reality, we've re-priced RapidLog and reorganized the line-up.

If you never purchased scanning for your system, you now own RapidLog Basic,
which is not available as a new product.
If you purchased a RapidLog subscription,
the subscription still covers the same upgrades as before. If you never
purchased scanning, you don't get scanning upgrades; otherwise all new features
and modules that are included in the RapidLog package are included in your
subscription (i.e. any new feature or module not sold at additional cost
to new customers purchasing RapidLog the first time).
