Basic Falsifications

If you’re not doing GPS or CSA 2010 audits (see the next section for details) you may want to perform some basic falsification checking. RapidLog drastically reduces the time and costs necessary to complete these audits.

You control if you want to skip these audits, do them for all logs, a small sample, or anything in between.

"Checkpoint" Falsification Checks

Confirm external information against the duty-status shown on logs to help find falsifications. For example, ensure that fuel stops are logged as “on-duty not driving” or that toll tickets are logged as “driving”. You can bulk-import some types (like fuel stops), or hand-enter any type of checkpoint.

For an extra level of control, you can optionally manually double-check checkpoints or their location (rather than just duty status), usually with just a click. Review checkpoints that are initially classified as valid, falsified, or either.

"Reasonable Driving Time" Falsification Checks

Sometimes drivers omit driving time from their logs. You can help detect this by looking at the distances the driver covered against the driving time logged. If they omit too much driving time they will get unreasonable speeds, such as covering 100 miles in 45 minutes.

Simply provide an external mileage engine (from third-party providers), then enter the cities from the remarks section of the log (either a few, a sample, or all points). The system then handles falsification detection automatically.
