Subscriptions and Upgrades: Staying Current
We are constantly adding new features to RapidLog. You can get these new features
in one of two ways: through Subscriptions that give continous access to all new
updates and features, or through Upgrades that you purchase whenever you see enough
new features to justify the upgrade price.
Since all upgrades and subscriptions are strictly voluntary, we let you
decide what options make the most sense for your situation.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are very popular because they combine several great features:

Instant access to new features and updates as soon as they are available (including
regulatory changes), right from our website—CDs are available upon request
at additional charge

Telephone support is available when you need it (60 minutes of standard phone support
is included FREE during the term of the subscription)

You get a low, predictable price: just $199/year (lapsed subscriptions are $399 to
reinstate)

Get almost 30% off web seminar fees

Add prepaid telephone support time at our best rate: just $79/hour
Many customers are entitled to a free limited-term Subscription with the
initial purchase, entitling you to all upgrades as well as block of free
standard telephone support to use during that time. When your complimentary
subscription expires, you can renew it then at a discounted price, or let
it lapse and purchase a combination upgrade/subscription later on when you
think the new features justify the cost.
Subscriptions are currently only available for our regular RapidLog product
(not RapidLog Pro), and do not include new products or modules that are
priced separately from the RapidLog product.
Upgrades
While the majority of customers like our subscriptions, some people don’t wish to
maintain an active subscription. In this case, we recommend you simply upgrade to
the latest release when/if you see features that you just can’t live without. Our
upgrades come with these additional features:

Since we're constantly releasing updates and new features, YOU choose when to upgrade,
rather than following our schedule.
- The upgrade price is more predictable, because you always get the then-current
Subscription reinstatement price (currently $399).

You get a FREE one-year subscription with your upgrade, so you get all new versions
of RapidLog for the next calendar year, and 60 minutes of free standard phone
support to use during that year as well.
