GPS and CSA-2010
Survive the Tough New Audits
New Audits
The FMCSA is implementing two tough new audits that many carriers are preparing for in advance.
GPS Audits
If you have a QualComm, PeopleNet or similar system, the FMCSA can use the GPS data and
timestamps to find falsified logs.
CSA 2010 Audits
The FMCSA is going to be collecting more information such as out-of-service events, port-of-entry
timestamps, and more, and they can find falsified logs with this data.
Survive Without the Cost and Hassle of EOBR
EOBR can help you survive these types of audits, but it's not usually the ideal option since
it locks you down, and can cost up to ten times what you spend on paper logs and auditing.
If you have an existing GPS system, you can automatically pre-screen your logs against
this data with our GPS Validator system.
If you don’t have an existing GPS system, but want reality-based logs to survive CSA 2010
cross-checks, you can add our affordable Route Recorder devices to your trucks
for as little as $199/unit; it can even generate automated trip-sheets as well!
