How to Import Shaw ELD Data Into RapidLog.


  • Downloader:
  • Arguments:
    • /companycode (RLCompany Code)
    • /login (Shaw username and company code. Format: username@shawcompanycode)
    • /password (Shaw Password)
    • /depot (a list of specific Shaw depots comma separated. Example: 1,45,85)
    • /driver (Driver ID of a specific driver. Should be used with /from and /to flags)
    • /clearrange 1 (Used to delete data from RapidLog when downloading for a specific driver)
    • /from (Date format mm/dd/yyyy)
    • /to (Date format mm/dd/yyyy)
  • RL5.ini Settings Requirements:
    • [Directories]
      EobLogImportRoot=C:\ProgramData\RapidLog\Data (Note: Match this to your Data= line)
  • Example BAT File:
    • “C:\Program Files (x86)\RapidLog\RapidLog.SHAW.Interface.exe” /companycode MYRLCOMPANY /login “Shawusername@Shawcompanycode” /password shawpass /from 09/01/2017
      “C:\Program Files (x86)\RapidLog\RapidLog.exe” MYRLCOMPANY -L RapidLogFormat
      “C:\Program Files (x86)\RapidLog\RapidLog.exe” MYRLCOMPANY -NewAudit HC -MI


  1. Download the ShawDownloader.zip file and unzip it in your RapidLog program directory.
  2. Edit the Directories section in the C:\Windows\rl5.ini file by adding EobLogImportRoot=Your Data folder.
    • Example: EobLogImportRoot=C:\ProgramData\RapidLog\Data
  3. Create a RapidLog folder in the Company Data directory.
  4. Open Notepad and setup the download, import and audit.  Save that file as a .bat file.
  5. Open Task Scheduler and schedule the .bat file to run once or twice daily.
  6. Create a shortcut to the user’s desktop to allow manual downloads if needed.
